Daniel Lanero Táboas (Vigo, 1977). I am a Professor and Researcher attached to the HISTAGRA Research Group and to the Department of History of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).

I am currently developing a research project on public housing policies in Spain during the 20th century and have started working on a book on technical assistance from the US to Spanish agriculture between 1950 and 1970.

Among my lines of research are the Social History of the Rural World, the Comparative History of Fascism or Agrarian History, with a special focus on Francoism, the transition to democracy in Spain and the Portuguese Novo State.

I have done research stays at the Universities of Lisbon, Bologna, King’s College, the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Maryland.
