Mirian Adrio Nieto (Teo, 2002) is studying for a degree in History (2024) and a Master's in Contemporary History (2025) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Programme in Contemporary History, also at the USC. Her research analyses the different memories of the 1936 coup in Pontevedra and their evolution, with the aim of highlighting gaps and silences, as well as showing how the hegemonic memory imposed by the perpetrators conditioned the social perception of the events for decades.
