Conchi López Sánchez

Conchi López Sánchez (1989, Santiago de Compostela) has a PhD in History (2021, USC) with the thesis “The coup d'état, persecutions and the rearguard in the Spanish Civil War: social attitudes in Galicia (1936-1939)”. She also has several master's degrees: in Teaching of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching(2013, USC) and Contemporary History (2015, USC). She was a research support technician in relation to several research projects on Franco's violence in Galicia in the Department of History of the USC and the responsible for historical studies in the Four-Year Plan of Democratic Memory of Galicia 2021-2024. Her lines of research focus on the coup of 1936, the civil war and Francoism.
