
Beatriz Corbacho González
Doctora en Historia Contemporánea
Beatriz Corbacho González (Pontevedra, 1985) graduated in History (2008) and took a Master’s Degree in Contemporary History (2010). She has been an FPI grant holder at the Department of Contemporary and American History of the USC since September 2011. She cooperated with the Nomes e Voces (Names and Voices) research team in the collection and systematisation of information on the repression in Galicia during the Civil War. She has researched into the assistance policies implemented by Auxilio Social (a social assistance organisation), of the Falangist Movement, in post-war Pontevedra. In 2017 she has defended his doctoral dissertation, tittled Intensification of a peaseant agriculture and soil fertility in an atlantic territory: Galicia, 1750-1900.
