Anjhara Gómez Rodríguez (Lugo, 1981) has a degree in Law (2008), a degree in Cultural Sciences and Cultural Dissemination (2022) and a Master's degree in Cultural Services (2023) from the University of Santiago de Compostela, with a stay at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico (2005).

 

She was awarded with an extraordinary prize for her undergraduate and master's degree.  She is currently working on her doctoral thesis as part of the PhD Programme in Cultural Studies: Memory, Identity, Territory and Language at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her research, entitled "Imaginario colectivo y cultura popular en la Galicia rural. Siglos XVIII a XX", deals with the study of the community subject in order to understand the changes and permanences in common thought as a social structure during the historical period in question, as well as its process of cultural transmission.

It is also part of the COREGAL research project: "Community, conflict and revolt in 20th century rural Galicia" (01/09/2021-31/08/2024).
