Antonio Giráldez López is an architect by the Universidade da Coruña and Master in Advanced Architectural Projects (UPM, 2015). D. (outstanding cum laude, 2020) in Advanced Architectural Projects from the Polytechnic University of Madrid with the thesis entitled "The border device: spatial construction from the norm and the migrant body".
He is currently working on the intersection between power, memory and the built environment as a researcher at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in the project "Architecture and Memory. Monumentalities in Conflict" project. Lecturer at the Universidad Andrés Bello (Chile) and at the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, as well as guest lecturer at UDELAR, UPM, UC3M, Escuela Sur and Elisava BCN. In parallel, he combined his academic work with his publishing practice through Bartlebooth, a publishing and research platform that received national and international awards.
