BA in History from UEMG (University of the State of Minas Gerais), MA in History from UFJF (Federal University of Juiz de Fora). He is currently a PhD student in History at UFJF and the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). He conducts research on the violation of the human rights of indigenous peoples during the military dictatorship in Brazil and the indigenous question in Latin American transitional justice. Researcher associated with the Centre for Teaching, Research and Extension in History and Memory of the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG) and the Laboratory of Political and Social History (LAHPS) of the UFJF. He worked as a researcher in the research project Corporate responsibility for rights violations during the dictatorship, promoted and coordinated by the Centre for Anthropology and Forensic Archaeology of the Federal University of São Paulo (CAAF/Unifesp), where he worked directly with the indigenous theme. He is a columnist for the project Historia da Ditadura and is interested in discussions involving decolonial thinking and the relationship between state power and indigenous peoples.
