Sara Plaza Moreno (Bustarviejo, 1972) has a degree in Teaching (UAM, 2006) and a Master's Degree in Management of Educational Activities in Nature (USC, 2020). Her dissertation, entitled De la escritura como mirada a la mirada que escribe. La naturaleza como aliento y sustento del sentido estético received the XVI Premio a la Calidad de los Trabajos de Fin de Máster 2020 (ex-aequo) in the Area of Social and Legal Sciences.

 

She is currently a student on the PhD programme in Cultural Studies: Memory, Identity, Territory and Language at the Faculty of Humanities of the USC (Lugo campus). Her research focuses on riots and popular revolts in Galicia in the first third of the twentieth century, under the research project Community, conflict and revolt in rural Galicia in the twentieth century (PID2020-117858RANA-I00, Call 2020 I-D-i Projects - RTI Type La). She is contracted by the USC as a researcher in training thanks to a grant for the training of doctors 2021 from the Ministry of Science and Innovation (PRE2021-099084, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the ESF+).
