Xabier Buxeiro Alonso (Rinlo-Ribadeo, 1990) is a graduate in History (2016, USC), Interuniversity Master in Contemporary History (USC, 2017) and PhD in Contemporary History since 2023. In 2017 he was awarded the extraordinary prizes of the Degree in History (USC) and the End of Career Award of the Autonomous Community of Galicia.

He worked as a contract researcher (pre-doctoral FPU) in the Department of History at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).

His lines of research focus on the study of the 1936 coup violence in the Spanish State, as well as social attitudes in this context.
