HISTAGRA will be present through the IP of the Lourenzo Fernández Prieto Group, which will offer the conference “An agrarian reform, several agricultures and a lot of historiography”, on Wednesday, February 16 at 5:00 p.m.

About the congress:

"After the proclamation of the Republic, the Provisional Government launched a policy of socio-labor, educational, secular, military reforms... that sought to modernize Spain and make it equal to the most advanced European models. Reforms that collided with the resistance to change of the conservative sectors, in a framework of intense conflict and depression due to the economic crisis of 1929. The Secretary of State for Democratic Memory of the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, with the collaboration of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Extremadura, have organized the following colloquium, face-to-face and online, in which prominent historians will participate who will reflect on the reforms of that democratic experience that was the Second Republic, established 90 years ago now"
