On May 26-29, 2021, the Latin America Studies Association organizes a new congress: "LASA2021. Global crisis. Inequalities and centrality of life.

 

On this occasion, HISTAGRA researcher Carlos Benítez Trinidad participates with two works: 

 

Roundtable coordinator: "Imposições do Estado nacional e forms of resistance: Indigenous agencies and voices in the XIX and XX centuries" 

 

Requested presentation: "O failure of a race in extinction: a construction of the Latin-American image on the indigenous peoples (XIX-XX centuries)"
