HISTAGRA presents the results of the PMD 2025 at several secondary schools in Santiago de Compostela

This week, at several secondary schools in Santiago de Compostela, the HISTAGRA Group will present the progress made and the work carried out in 2025 as part of the Galician Plan for Democratic Memory 2025

On Tuesday 24 March, the event will take place at IES de Cacheiras (Teo); on Wednesday 25 March at IES Antón Fraguas in Santiago; and on Thursday 26 March at IES Xelmirez II, also in Santiago.

At both Cacheiras and Xelmirez II, several members of the history, archaeology and genetics team will analyse the exhumations carried out in Asados (Rianxo) and Luou (Teo) in November 2025. On Wednesday, in addition to the presentation of the PMD, there will also be a talk on the exhibition ‘80 Years. Santiago 1936’, which has already toured various educational centres in Galicia since its opening at the Granell Foundation in 2018. Furthermore, in April, this same exhibition will be on display at the IES Alfonso X in Cambre, where a talk will also be given for secondary school and sixth-form students.
