HISTAGRA increases the number of research members

HISTAGRA obtains several pre- and postdoctoral research contracts in the first half of 2024

 

The HISTAGRA Research Group increases the number of research staff in the first semester of 2024 with the incorporation of a predoctoral researcher, Virginia Mosteiro Cagide and four postdoctoral researchers: Tamara López Fernández, Uxia Otero González, Antonio Giráldez López and Luis Toledo Machado.

 

Virginia Mosteiro Cagide (Melide, 2000) holds a degree in Cultural Sciences and Cultural Dissemination from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a master's degree in Cultural Heritage Management from the University of Zaragoza (2023). She is currently an FPU contract holder in the Faculty of Humanities at the Lugo Campus.

 

Tamara López Fernández (Lugo, 1994) holds a degree in Cultural Sciences and Cultural Dissemination from the USC and a PhD from 2023 from the same university. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the USC. Her main line of research is common delinquency in the early Franco regime, social and cultural history, economic violence and common delinquency. She is a postdoctoral researcher of the Xunta de Galicia.

 

Uxía Otero González (Cervo, 1992) has a PhD in Contemporary History, with the thesis "Domesticating female bodies in Francoism (1939-1975): the (re)modelling of normative femininity and its sartorial incarnation in the transition of the fifties". She is a postdoctoral researcher for the Xunta de Galicia. 
 

Antonio Giráldez López holds a degree in architecture from the Universidade da Coruña and a Master's Degree in Advanced Architectural Projects from the UPM. He holds a PhD in Advanced Architectural Projects from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He is a postdoctoral researcher for the Xunta de Galicia.

 

Luis Toledo Machado (1994) holds a PhD in Contemporary History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2023). He graduated in History (2016) and holds an Interuniversity Master's Degree in Contemporary History (2017) from the same institution. He is a postdoctoral researcher for the Xunta de Galicia.
