Lecture: Ramon Arnabat, Uncomfortable Pasts Series

New lecture in HISTAGRA's Uncomfortable Pasts Series. Ramón Arnabat: "Total War and Air War"



Next Wednesday 13th March at 19:00 a new conference will take place as part of HISTAGRA's series Inconvenient Pasts. On this occasion we will be visited by Ramon Arnabat, lecturer at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, who will give a lecture entitled: "Total War and Air War: the bombing of Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939)". 

It will take place at 7 p.m. in classroom 10 of the Faculty of Geography and History (USC). 

Ramón Arnabat is a lecturer in contemporary history in the Department of History and Art History at the Rovira i Virgili University. His lines of research are the social movements in contemporary Catalonia, the crisis of the Ancien Régime in Catalonia (18th-19th centuries), Catalonia and Spain in the 19th century, the revolution and counter-revolution in the 19th century in Europe, the Second Republic and the Spanish Civil War, the first Francoism (1939-1959) and the struggle for democracy (1969-1979).
