What management was done locally of the vestiges of the War of 36 and Francoism? What are the outstanding challenges in the field of historical memory in our city? What can we do as citizens? 

These and other questions will take place next Saturday, February 1, in the "Deconstruct Francoism" Route, an activity born with the vocation to promote public reflection on the policies of management of the footprints of the Franco regime in Compostela. It is a complement to the sample of the same name, installed in the Alameda from January 23 until February 6, allowing to delve into the contents and share reflections with other agents. 

From the regenerative cooperative, we will visit some significant areas of the city for memory, articulating the route based on the five major concepts that make up the exhibition: persistence, amnesia, absence, expropriation and candor. We will hear first-hand the testimony of people working for historical memory in our context, both from the academic and activist backgrounds. 

The tour starts at 11am in the Alameda, in front of the exhibition's own container. It lasts approximately two hours, and the finish will be in the same space.
