HISTAGRA participates in the conference Regimes of memory in contemporary Spain



HISTAGRA researcher Antonio Miguez Macho participates on December 11 and 12, 2019 in the study sessions "Regimes of memory in contemporary Spain" held at the Casa Velázquez in Madrid.



His intervention is: "The Amnesty Law of 1977"



About the conference:



These study days inaugurate the REGIMEM program - Braided Memories. Regimes of memory of the violence of the Civil War, Franco and terrorism in Spain since the 1970s.



The project is interested in the braided strata of memory that have been configured after the consecutive episodes of mass violence from the 1930s to the final surrender of ETA in 2011, causing in the long term, an accumulation of victims, perpetrators and cross-narratives.
